PPV Party
If you're in Vegas and don't have tickets to the live show, this is the only other game in town. I don't know if they have done this before or plan on making a regular feature from now on. It was like a big PPV party (except you had to stand in line first and the bartenders were slow).
A smaller one set up by the lazy river pool, and a big screen was set up on the Mandalay Beach stage. All of the beach furniture was removed, and seating was in the water, the sand, or back in the bar area, which also had 42" screens set up (they also had cabanas with TVs, but those were too rich for me). They needed 2 more big ones to make it ideal and less congested.
My group had a blast, and we would do this again. It was first come first served. The beach employees did not have the information they should have on how this would be set up and conducted, and I was unable to get a clear picture prior to the event of what was to occur. My group was seated center stage on the sand, and the view and sound were great.
